I have a vcd of a concert, and an audio cd of the same concert. The audio on the vcd is not that good (the vcd came from a vhs, with several generations).
So, what I planned to do, was to merge the audio with the video using TMPGEnc like so:
So, I split the video from the vcd into separate tracks for each song. Then I exctracted the audio tracks from the cd into wav files, and edited them so that the audio tracks were the same length as the video track for each song (make sense so far?)
I proceeded to merge the tracks, and what I found was that the video and audio matched up for the first minute or so, then by the time the song was almost over, the video was a few seconds ahead of the audio. I tried this a few times, but every time I try, the audio and video do not match by the end of the song. I am guessing that the video is a different speed than the audio, so I was wondering if there was a way to match them up correctly. Any suggestions?
