  1. I have recently made a video that I want to make a lot of copies of on to dvd format. I am wanting to buy 2 dvd burners and hook them up on one computer. I then want to burn the same dvd to both burners at the same time. Is this possible, and if so how do i do it? I was planning on buying a 2.2 ghz machine with 256mb ram and wanting to get 2 usb burners. Also, should I use dvd-r or +r? I want to be able to play my dvds in most dvd players.

    Thanks,
    Adam

  2. Well I believe RecordNow Max allows you to burn like 64 burners at one time. I have used it to burn two discs at one time but only one time and it worked fine.

Yeah you can ..I've don 5 at once no big deal--
the trick is for proper result the two burners must be the same makeand firmware version
iF YOU WANNA TRY with MORE THAN ONE WITHOUT the same firmware-Not recomended
-close THE WIZARD go to TOOLS>OPTIONS
and then you will see DRIVE SELECTION for simultaneous recording
HERE you can MIX any make or model (bad idea)
choose same model with different firmware...or finally ..youre best bet..SAME MODELand firmware
I've donethiswith PRASSI, STOMPand NERO...all work if the machines are identical..
And they work poorly if you mix the machines.
Lotsa coasters if your basic drives burn at differnt speeds

I would increase your RAM to at least 512. The more the better. XP Home and Pro which I run on 6 different sytems have anywhere from 512 to 1g of memory. Its a good investment.

  6. I don't know if getting 2 USB burners would be the best idea either. I've never tried it, but even at USB 2.0 standards it seems unwise to me. Maybe someone else has actually done it w/ two USB burners. But my vote would be stay away from USB if you're planning on burning 2 at once.
