  1. Hi,

I'm using Premiere LE 6.01 (included with my Sony Vaio) on my Windows XP system. The problem is that I can use only one external plug-in to export the time-line (File -> Export Timeline -> Movie -> Settings -> File type). If I want to use an external plug-in (like Cinema Craft Encoder or Videoserver from Videotools) to export the time-line I first have to remove another plug-in before I can use the plug-in.

I was wondering if somebody knows if it is somehow possible to use more plug-ins for exporting the time-line.

    Thanks in advance

Yes it is very possible to run more plugins: Upgrade to the full version of Premeire. Premeire LE has limits so theres not alot you can do if you wanted to add plugins for the software.

  3. Ok, I do understand that I can upgrade to the full version. But I don't need to upgrade, so I don't like to spend $300,00 for an upgrade only to use external plug-ins.

I was more thinking about a little modification of the registry or something like that. Maybe someone knows how to do that?

From what I know, the upgrade to 6.5 of Premeire is only $150....not that expensive. As far as I know there's no way to make any modifications in the registry, however the registry has nothing to do with the plugins for the software.....thats within the program's code itself. The Registry mostly deals with Windows innerworkings and one wrong move there can make your system inoperable.

  5. The upgrade from a full version to Premier 6.5 is $150,00, but the upgrade from a LE version is $300,00.

Maybe someone knows how I can remove the quicktime or Microsoft Bitmap Sequence export functions. Perhaps this can make room for other export plug-in.
