how many chapter points

Hi--
Could someone tell me if there is a limit in the number of chapter points you can have in a dvd? Is is dependent on authoring software? I have DVD workshop.

The spec says 99 *total* per DVD, or 99 per movie? Or are you saying 10 per VOB? (The latter doesn't sound right -- I've made 33 in one VOB easily).

. BUP = Backup files of the IFO files.

. IFO = The IFO files includes information such as chapters, subtitle tracks and audio tracks.

.VOB = The VOB files contains the actual video,audio,subtitles and menus.

Well, I appreciate the details, but this still isn't talking about chapter points -- it's talking about titles (and I do understand the limitations of those).

According to DVDWorkshop's specs, you can have 99 chapter points *per movie*, so I guess this is saying that for up to 99 movies you can have up to 99 chapter points a piece. Is that what you were trying to tell me?
