I have a sony trv35e analogue camcorder with a lanc connector.
i want to capture and edit then burn on to cdr to make video disk
i bought a mira studio 2 years ago which connected through printer port, the results were pretty poor, i dont want to get caught out again, iam on a budget, please can any one recommed
a good capture card

If you want something cheap, get a tv-card like the Pinnacle Studio PCTV oder Hauppauge WinTV. For best results, the card must have a S-Video connector.
If you have enough money and want better results, get a video digitiser like the Pinnacle DC10+ or DC30+. They offer very good quality (semi professional) for an acceptable price
