    It's 1:30 in the morning, and I'm a little groggy , so maybe I haven't got this quite right --- but it seems that over at Neowin they are announcing a new version of TMPGEnc. Can anyone verify this, or am I in a narcoleptic haze?

    No it doesnt. Just differentiating between the TMPGEnc that we all know an love, and the new TMPGEnc DVD Author which I'm sure you've read about.

    i have no clue what TMPGEnc DVD Author really does. by the title, i have a hunch as to what its main purpose is though. the program is in japanese so i can't really tell. maybe there is an english version? i don't really know as i don't have a dvd burner so i don't read up on dvd authoring.
