problem buring with pioneer a05

i'm useing ritek and optodisc dvd-r for my pioneer a05 1.30.
but once in a while it burn 100% with nero but when i put it to play it does'nt play.
when i check the dvd info that i just burn with dvd decrypter it said that the dvd-r is empty? but i can see that is burn.so what can it be? is the a05 or the media

Sounds like your authoring software (ie. Nero) make sure you'v got the newest verison (as severl verisons of Nero have serious problems burning DVD video). Also you say (I believe) that your stand alone can't play the disc, but can you play it on your PC?

What if you open it in explorer? What (if any) files do you see?

I always use RecordNOW DX which shipped with my A05. I create an AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS folder and dump all the *.vob and other files such as *.IFO into the VIDEO_TS and then burn as a data disc. Not one problem yet. And I have even burned many on sh!tty media...

i dont see any files its saids the the dvd media is empty.but i can see that is already burned and i have the same problem with recordnow dx 4.6
