  1. ATI AIW 8500
    MMC 8.1
For some reason all of a sudden when I capture I have this strange box that jumps around the screen. It is actulally made up of nine liitle boxes to make one box. It never used to be there. Anyone know what this is?? Or how to get rid of it??

    Thanks Boxingjunkie

Looks like a demo codec ( some of those free demo codecs adds watermarks to the captured video ).

It is the elecard mpeg2 codec. Uninstall it or register it to get rid of it.

  4. Thanks for the help. That was it. I registered it, but it was still there so I just deleted it. Now I have a new problem. I have been using TMPGE 2.53 for some time with no problems. Now when I try to load a movie into it, it gives me this message: Cannot open, or unsupported. Did deleting the codec have something to do with it? It wont even let me open clips that Ive already used TMPGE to encode.

    Thanks Boxingjunkie

  5. OK got it working. All I did was reinstall TMPGE and now its working. Just got one new problem now. I have no sound. When I use the wizard, I import my video and it would always input the audio automaticly. Now it wont. I know my source clip has audio because I can play it in WMP. I encoded a small clip and it has no sound. Any suggestions?

    Thanks Boxingjunkie
