    I just bought this today [$249+tax] and I couldn't play Driven SVCD. I'm a bit of a newbie w/ SVCD so i have no clue what the prob was. It played the audio for like 2 secs then jus stopped. Everything else works fine . . . vcds, mp3, and other SVCDs.

    well also won't play PAL

    any help/tips ?

    instead of pressing play press '1' on your keypad. Check if it has a /SEGMENT dir or not. You extract the mpg and remake the .bin .cue with vcdimager.
