My DVD-Rom that I use for ripping (Hitachi gd-7500) has started to give me an error when I trie to rip ANY DVD using DVD Decrypter 3.1.5.0.
The error looks like this:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
I/O Error!

ScsiStatus: 0x02
Interpretation: Check Condition

When I try to ripp the same DVD in my Sony DRU-500AX I get no errors (but it takes forever since it only can rip at 2x).
I then thougth it might be the DVDs that where strange so I tried to ripp an old DVD that I have ripped with the Hitachi before and I got the same exact error. Does anyone know what is going on? Is my Hitachi DVD-ROM dying?(It can still play the same DVDs that gives error in DVD Decrypter using PowerDVD
I have tried to ripp it with Smartripper also and that works just fine, so it should not be the Hitachi that is doing this , should it?
Might it be a bug in DVD Decrypter that does this?
Actually when I think back the error started after I used the Sony to ripp a movie and then went back to the Hitachi to rip. Could it be some kind of faulty device handeling in DVD Decrypter that causes this?
Anyone have any idears?
By the way my computer setup is as follows:

I was having the same problem with my Hitachi GD-7500 and Decrypter 315,but it was working with my Sony and Lite-On DVD-Rom's. I changed back to Decrypter 313 on the Hitachi and that solved the problem. Appears to be a compatibilty between the Hitachi GD-7500 and Decrypter 315.
