    I've got something new for you guys! I downloaded a movie
    and when I checked the file information it states 48000Hz 1
    channel (mono).

    What in the World can I do with 1 channel mono audio? Is
    there a way to convert it to some kind of dual channel audio?
    I've never experienced any movie with mono audio.

    Any ideas?

  2. Not a James Bond movie by any chance is it?

    Load it in virtualdub, then select
    audio->full processing,
    audio->conversion, select stereo (will be dual channel mono in reality)
    audio->compression (None) (or whatever you prefer)
    File-save wave

    You now have a dual mono (stereo) version of the soundtrack to do with as you please.

    Bugster, thanks for the reply. Your suggestion
    makes perfect sense. I'll definitely give it a try.
