Okay, took a well done 700 meg avi movie file, encoded it to MPEG2 using TMPG.
View the movie after encoding, looks great, plays smooth, no problems.
Once its burned, when I view it on TV from my DVD player, its choppy. I have burned at 2.4x, 2x, and even 1x with the same results. Nothing running in the background. Ive used DVD Movie Factory 2 and DVD Workshop.
What am I doing wrong here? I am using:
Sony DRU500AX in an Intel Pentium 4 2.2ghz with a gig of ram, 2 120 gig hard drives with 8meg cache. The system isn't the problem.
Please help.

To be completely clear, when viewed in my DVD player, it isn't extremely choppy throughout the entire play, but ever few second, the frames seem to jump a bit. The audio remains in sync, but the jumps are killing me.
