I have a DMR-HS2 on the way and expect to mostly use DVD-R but decided maybe I should get some DVD-RAM discs. One thing I heard is that any dvd-rom in a computer can handle them. Is that true? My idea is some items that I record on the panasonic I may want to take over to the computer and edit. I know my computer can handle dvd-r but with dvd-ram at least I know I can reuse the data after I copy over. I plan to work with it in Studio 8 on the computer before burning it to dvd on the computer. My question, I'm assuming that you can't use dvd-ram's that are in the case on the computer. Is that true? Are there dvd-ram's you can buy that aren't in a case or either can be removed? Is there a good brand to look for?
