problems with divx to vcd or svcd

hello i have a problem with divx to vcd xvcd or svd xsvcd
if i convert a divx to vcd or other then the sound isn´t good in the vcd
in the begin the sound and the movie are normal but later in the muvie then i first get the sound and then i get the part of that movie that belongs to that sound is there a progam for a good conversion i already try tmpgenc and also other prgrams can any one help me

i hope you understand that i write here caus my english isn´t very good
