Guys ,
Iam trying to put some vhs tapes on my PC to make some SVCDS . The problem is that when i connect the VCR via a svideo to my pc - i dont get any Picture . The setup is rather difficult as the vcr doesnt have a direct s-video out - so iam going via scart to s-video and then into my pc .
This works for an analog camera just fine ( the camera is connected directly to the pc via s-video ) .
I have been trying anything in VirtualDup - but i dont seem to be getting a picture ...
Any ideas ?

Did you open up virtuadub, select capture avi, and go to the video tab, then source? select s-video as your video source to capture from there is your using s-video.
Don't knock on deaths door, ring the doorbell and run, death hates that! -
Are you sure the S-video on your graphics card is a s-video in and not a s-video out.
