May be a dumb question, but want to make sure I get it right:
I have now .vob and .bup files on my harddrive after using dvdshrink. What software do I use to burn them using my pioneer dvr-105? The dvdshrink guide says "use the software bundled with your drive" which, in my case is "sonic mydvd". But this software is only for authoring/burning DVD from your camcorder.
I spent an hour at nero.com and got more confused, as I am not sure if I need nero express, nero visionexpress, or nero burning rom, and if yes, with which plug ins.
Please help me with a suggestion as to which software I need to buy to complete the "shring dvd-9 to dvd-5" project i have started with dvdshrink. Thanks in advance!![]()

Nero Express and Nero Burning Rom are the same program with different user's interface. I used both with my Cendyne DVR-105 (Pioneer) with no problem whatsoever. Since you apparently are relatively new at this, I would recommend using Nero Express. Simple and easy to use.

I suggest you use Nero and burn DVD-ROM/UDF, no multisession and 1.02. Be sure you have your video files in a VIDEO_TS folder, and an empty AUDIO_TS folder that you drag into Nero for your compilation. Works 100% of the time for me.

In my experience NERO has never worked for me...
I will use nothing but RecordNOW Max which came with my A05. Damn I love this program -

I just get one big folder with alot of vobs, and some other files. I thought you had to change everything into 2 folders VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS. However, I can't make this work. Do I actually have to do this, and is there a way I can do it with RecordNow Dx?

Bob W's suggestion is the way to go. However I was always advised to create an AUDIO_TS folder. I suppose creating one doesnt take up any room and will guarantee it to work, rather than just having the VIDEO_TS folder.
