Is it now? Any comments on this product?
The design is elegant, but don't know anything about its performance. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I'm not sure, it's been sitting in my trash can ever since I bought it.
Waste of money mainly because it has the name Pinncale on it.

Well jsnkc, I think that your reply is jus some default text that you have in TXT document so you can post to anyhing that is related to Pinnacle
Maybe I am wrong, but thi looks like new product and it is available only in Asia. Am I right easteast ? So jsnkc I don't believe that it is in your trash can. If it is ..... Jus send it to mePinnacle Studio 8 and DV home video editing (ver.9 already home) -
Sorry, I already threw it against the wall a few times, and accidentally put it in the trash compactor. I feel the best way to deal with Pinnacle products is to kill them before they can breed and reproduce here in the US, giving millions of people computer problems and bad video.

jsnkc, You didn't get it. PRODUCT IS NOT IN US YET. WHY ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT SOMETHING THAT YOU NEVER SAW !!!

Whatever....

I don't know if it is in the US or not. But I am in Hong Kong and I saw it in Hong Kong. And according to the salesperson, this is only in the market for one month.

How old are you donpedro, like 15 or 16, such a childish gesture, why don't you grow up. By the way, get a real website, geocities is for 13 year olds.

Also I'm not saying that Vegas is the only good editing software out there, it just happens to be the cheapest and best option for most people, the new Avid systems look really promising (thinking of ordering one myself) Also the Video Toaster 2 is a great system with Toaster 3 coming out soon.

Well, it looks like that the DV version is available in US. For under $200
(with rebate), it seems to be worth to take a look if it converts analog to DV.

But the problem is that I can not find its specification anywhere. Pinnacle
web site has not even mentioned it. Does anyone know if it directly converts
analog to DV like Canopus ADVC-100 or DataVideo DAC-100? I am looking for
a quality analog to DV converter. I like to see more competitions in this
area, so that the price will be more reasonable. -
What about this link ?

Thanks for the information. It looks like that it probably will not
convert video signals with macrovision protection. -
Actually that usb thingy is available, at least tigerdirect has it in their newest catalog I got 2 days ago. Couldn't advise on the quality though. Tiger though doesn't have it on their web page yet.
