dvd to vcddvd

Well i know that we have apps that convert straight to vcd form dvd but i wanted to know the settings to do mpeg1's compliant for burning on dvd. I was thinking tmpgen but will take the settings for procoder(i have not used this yet but heard its very good quality). You guessed it right, i wanna save the time of converting it to vcd then demux or whatever i have to do. I recently brought a dvd burner and wanted to try this

come on guys someone must know. I am plannning to burn with MF2 which doe snot convet complaint mpegs. Where is the guide if ther eis any for this.....

Use VCD default settings and change the audio 48 khz and the stream type to mpeg1 program stream(not vcd type...). And remember that you can't use 23,976 fps only 25 fps or 29.97 fps.

can you le tme know which proggy to use in the dvd to vcd conversion, preferably an all in one proggy but if there isnt any, any other

Also why should it be mpeg1 and not vcd?
