  1. I keep getting this message when I try to convert a DiVX avi file with AC3 sound into MPEG2 format with TMPGEnc. When I try several other programs I end up with no sound at all. I am assuming it all has to do with the AC3 sound. I saved the sound into a wav file in Goldwave and used that as the audio source for TMPGEnc but I got the error listed above. Without this it did not even recognize the audio portion.

  2. You can try installing this codec package from the mirror site below. You may try to download the newest from the authors site. It installs most of the popular video and audio codecs that are available.
