Hi Folks,
I sure hope that someone can point me in the right direction.
I am capturing old VHS tapes through Canopus ADVC-100 using Scenalizer. This seems to be fine and the AVI file does import without any issues into Virtualdub where I can make my edits.
If I save as AVI with video set to Direct Stream, I get my edited AVI file.
But if I want to apply filters and save with Full Processing mode, my resulting video stutter and is very choppy.
I can see when it saves that the fps are around 10 or 11. I know that I should be at 29.97 but I can't see where I can control this. Even the video settings shows "Keep at 29.97" Who knows, this might not be my problem at all !!!!
Thanks for your help,
Bernie

Just a bump to see if someone could help!
I hope I posted in the right category.
This is really bugging me !!

Is the video stuttering when you play the saved AVI, or is it stuttering when you hit "Preview"? If it's stuttering when you hit "Preview" it's because it's unable to apply all your filters and play it back in real time.
Try saving a short segment of your filtered AVI in full processing mode, then load that into media player or another instance of Virtual Dub and see if it still stutters. If it plays back fine, then you know that your final avi will play OK.
