    newbie here..i want to save my mp3 files as data and burn it on a dvd..this is to free up some of my harddrives..i know people here are into burning movies on dvd, but has anyone ever done this with mp3 files..

    do a Forum Search, there's been 3 or 4 threads on this subject active in the past few days.

    just put in "mp3" and "dvd" and you should find the thread.

    also, I'd suggest that next time you post, you put something descriptive in your title, not just "how do i..." - some people won't even read posts like that, you could have someone who has the answer you need bypassing your post because they ignored it, due to it's subject line...

    It works if you convert the mp3's to 48khz and your stand-alone will play them.If you only intend to play on computer then you don't have to convert to 48khz.
