When I download that bitsetting program and try to run it with my TDK DVD burner that burns +R/RW media it says I have a first generation DVD burner that will not allow me to change the booktype. Is this correct I thought that I would be able to use this bitsetting program. I do not get the option in Nero 5.5.10.20a either do I have something set up wrong?
Thanks for any help.

Forgot to mention that the TDK burner I have is supposed to be a next generation burner. I am sure that it is not a first generation burner.

I believe this is a rebadged NEC burner. You cannot use the bitsetting utility on either Sony and NEC burners.
