    Not confirmed, but i`ve been told that when the new or newer dvd players by Panasonic are converted to region free, they can also play mp3`s!
    I was also told that this was standard in the USA!

    Can anyone confirm this?

    Would be nice, if true!

    No, it will not allow a Panasonic Player to play Mp3
    Panasonic do now sell players that play Mp3 though
