I'm fairly new to (and ignorant about) DVD burning. I am using Studio 8 to capture and author DVDs. I have several problems:
1- The DVDs work if I use Studio 8 to create a DVD image on my hard drive, then burn the DVD with Instant Copy. If I use Studio 8 to burn the DVD then the DVD plays until the last 2 or 3 chapters- then it freezes (does the same thing in either my standalone DVD player or on the computer).
2. I have converted 3 video tapes to DVD. All 3 play okay, but in my DVD player I can only fast forward at 2X. When I try to fast forward at 4, 6 or 8X it freezes. Fast reverse doesn't work at all. Is this a problem with Studio 8, my DVD player, or something else?
3. The chapter points on the final DVD are anywhere from 3 to 45 seconds ahead of where I set them. The further into the movie, the further ahead the chapter point ends up. I finally made a chart so I know about how far to back up chapter points so they'll end up in the right place, but it would be a lot easier if they would just stay where I put them in the first place. Any idea on what might be cause this.
Thanks for any help or suggestions.
