  1. I was hoping to see some price drops however if anything pricing seems to be going up slightly. So what happened to the old supply and demand theory?

  2. This is my, absulutly not proven theory....

Prices went down when Sony came up with new drive and there were a lot of issues with compatibility. Sellers wanted to get down their inventory of medias that were not working so they lowered drasticaly prices. Now when Sony improved their compatibilty..... Hmmmm... Does it fit ?

  3. Since I have no counter theory it works for me. I would love to see 1x media go for under $0.50 in bulk and 4x near a dollar.

  4. Me too..... If media will be available for these prices (without rebates) in stores like BestBuy or CircuitCity I wouldn't go to buy on web at all since my burning quantities are very low..... Ability to return it without big hassel will be great.... Maybe one day

YOu have to look at things with a longer view. Prices were VERY high, then after a ton of waiting they dropped down some, they were just high, now they have creaped back up a little bit, but I wouldn't expect prices to crash overnight its just not the way things happen usually.

I guess what I'm saying is just wait alittle more, its not likely to be a price crash, its going to be a slow fall in spurts over time.
