I'm thinking about getting a dvdrw and I would like to know can you put data on dvds? Like if I have a folder on my pc that's bigger than 700mb and it won't fit on a cd, can I put it on a dvd? Basically, can you treat a dvd like a big cd? Thanx.

Data backups on DVDs are great. I usually use really cheap Bulkpaqs for this as they are fine for data.
