With the online price of DVD-R droping to below a dollar a disc. Im wondering who is still using CD-R.
Here is a link to the place and discs that I buy.

At that rate they have dropped below a dollar.

Those are great discs. I still see use for CD-R, but I agree with you, video is DVD-R more and more these days. CD-R is almost a dinosaur in terms of market share for video outside Asia.
I'm not online anymore. Ask BALDRICK, LORDSMURF or SATSTORM for help. PM's are ignored. -
Should be an option for both cdr/w and dvd-/+/r/w or all of the above.
I think even the people who have moved onto dvd burning still use cdrs for certain purposes. I know I do.
I use dvd+rw for burning test disks after authoring a DVD, because I can burn at x2, I burn all my DVD backups to dvd-r, and I still use cdrs for backing up audio cds or computer software or for transferring pictures to friends and family. -
I should have been more clear. What im looking for is what do you use for video authoring. Can I change the options on the poll?

Ok I fixed it it. It should allow for less confusion now.

DVD almost all the time. I think I've used VCD twice since I got my DVD burner.
