Poll: What do you use for video authoring?

    With the online price of DVD-R droping to below a dollar a disc. Im wondering who is still using CD-R.

    Those are great discs. I still see use for CD-R, but I agree with you, video is DVD-R more and more these days. CD-R is almost a dinosaur in terms of market share for video outside Asia.

    Should be an option for both cdr/w and dvd-/+/r/w or all of the above.

    I think even the people who have moved onto dvd burning still use cdrs for certain purposes. I know I do.

    I use dvd+rw for burning test disks after authoring a DVD, because I can burn at x2, I burn all my DVD backups to dvd-r, and I still use cdrs for backing up audio cds or computer software or for transferring pictures to friends and family.

    DVD almost all the time. I think I've used VCD twice since I got my DVD burner.
