Hi i am new to this game and i am looking for some sort of software to split a wav file into two parts. Please could someone help me. I have tried Sound Forge but i am not sure how to use it. Any help would be much appreciated Thans

You can do it with soundforge or any decent editor. A program designed specifically for this is CDWAV at:

May I also recommend "audacity"
A free wav/mp3 edtior with some speial effects. I'm still experimenting with it.... -
I remember a little tiny app that was so cool ...I think it was called wav cutter or wav splitter you load your wav and hit cut it would split it beautifully and save the files for you I found it at download.com.....it was a while ago though
How long could we maintain? I wondered. How long until one of us starts raving and jabbering at this boy? What will he think then?

Hi guys thanks for the help will try the programs now. I am trying to split it at a certain time in the clip. All the programs i have found wont do that i have tried sound forge but i am struggling how to use it and how to split the audio at a certain time and save it. Thanks Guys
