I'm so close to getting it working........

I used smartripper to rip The Last Boyscout and it worked very fast and good quality. But since it is in vob file I have to convert it to vcd (preferably svcd) which I tried with TMPGEnc. It says it cannot read the vob file or it is unsupported. Then I try going to merge and cut, load movie and everything and it works fine, but when it is making the svcd it doesn't make any audio. Is there anyway I can make it work a similair way, or a different way, but I would like to use smartripper. Thankyou.

Take a look a the at the links to the left, esp the 'DVD Rip' one

Basically you can't just load the VOBs in TMPGenc, you need to generate seperate video and wav files (normally w/ DVD2AVI).

If you're a complete newbie you might want to look at DVD2SVCD. You can d/load the newest software bundle at http://dvd2svcd.doom9.net however the guide for it is at http://www.doom9.org (look under 'the guides') you'll also find a link there to d/load CCE 2.5sp demo. The demo will place a watermark/logo in the bottom right of your encoded MPEG; however, I've heard that there's a crack to remove this
