I have been following a couple of threads about compatability (or lack of it) and been using those suggestions, but nothing is working. Here's the deal:
Began using Smartripper, DVD2One, and then RecordNow DX to burn DVDs. They worked PERFECTLY!!!!
Until....
I came to a collection of newest DVDs... RecordNow wouldn't burn them period. So, I found somewhere to disable the "Recognize the VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS folders per the DVD specifications" selection. I did that, and the DVDs burned fine, and play in my computer fine, but don't play in my standalone (a Panasonic, only a few months old). I went back to the site, where it actually said that it probably wouldn't if I did disable the particular function![]()
Well, then I decided to get the newest version of Nero, because I found somewhere else that it works well with compatability issues. I found another thread that gave me directions on how to make the most compatable DVD... I had to select DVD ROM UDF and use UDF 1.02 as the Partition specification. That didn't work either. Burned another DVD that works only in my computer. Then I decided to try the Force Compatability for X-Box option, and that didn't work either.
Please, please somebody help me out here.Is there anything I can do or change or buy?
Thanks a lot
