    Hi!
I downloaded a movie (avi), the size is 700MB, and the movie is almost 2 hours long. I wanted to make a VCD with Nero (5.5.10.20) of the movie so that i can watch it in my DVD but the file gets over 1GB when i burn it. Is there any program (shareware) that i can use to split the file into 2 discs? (i also have VCDEasy!)

  2. TMPGEnc is a freeware that can split MPEG-1 into smaller MPEG-1 files.
Click on the Tools button on the left.

  3. well first off you wil need to encode the video to mpeg. better use tmpgenc for that. if you want you can put it onto one cd by making it a non standard vcd, or you can split it onto 2 cds.

If you insist on cutting then there's a guide in the Edit section, otherwise use the Source Range function like vtoskov suggests.
