Hi!
I downloaded a movie (avi), the size is 700MB, and the movie is almost 2 hours long. I wanted to make a VCD with Nero (5.5.10.20) of the movie so that i can watch it in my DVD but the file gets over 1GB when i burn it. Is there any program (shareware) that i can use to split the file into 2 discs? (i also have VCDEasy!)

TMPGEnc is a freeware that can split MPEG-1 into smaller MPEG-1 files.

well first off you wil need to encode the video to mpeg. better use tmpgenc for that. if you want you can put it onto one cd by making it a non standard vcd, or you can split it onto 2 cds.

read Step 3 in this guide:

If you insist on cutting then there's a guide in the Edit section, otherwise use the Source Range function like vtoskov suggests.
