i have the following problem: I encoded some dv-avi with tmpgenc, it shoud be dvd compliant (CBR 7000kbs), audio is LayerII 384 kbs. When I mulitplex this with some authoring program, the outcome is, that (a)the movie is much too fast, (b) movie is okay, but audio much too slow reminding me on darth vader).

I ve tried the various tmpgenc settings for audio and the followings dvd authoring programs:

    ifoedit (movie too fast)
    spruce (audio too slow)
    reeldvd (audio too slow)
    dvdworkshop (movie too fast)

Audio is ridiculously high for stereo. Try 192 or 224, both standard rates.

Is the fps set properly? 29.97?

Spruce is a great program, though older. The other ones you tried aren't very good for authoring. Try DVDit! too.

In all cases, I think the files have encoding errors.
I'm not online anymore. Ask BALDRICK, LORDSMURF or SATSTORM for help. PM's are ignored.
