    i have a video file and using virtual dub i'm trying to convert the audio to mp3 format but i get an error (see image) is there any way to fix this or go around it or are there any other programs that my work

    use goldwave .. just load and click save as and u can select .mp3

    I also had this problem and found goldwave to extract to wav when vdub would not.
    Is there a specific khz or bitrate to save the wav as? There are many options.
