I can't seem to get interlaced PAL output from ffmpegX 0.0.6i.
Input: Full quality DV encoded PAL QT file exported from iMovie 2 with its High Quality flag set and saved in QT Player.
ffmpegX settings: SVCD (PAL) Quick Preset, mpeg2enc Deinterlace unchecked. I have tried all ffmpegX's Interlace options (Field, Frame, Not interlaced) but the output is always progressive (i.e. there are no comb lines on computer monitor). I can get good interlaced output via MediaPipe's ppmtoy4m -L -I b and mpeg2enc -I 1 settings.
Is there some ffmpegX option I'm missing?
What is the difference between ffmpegX's Field and Frame options? With the Field option there are similar colored artifacts I get via MediaPipe's mpeg2enc -I 2 although the output is progressive with ffmpegX.
