    I burned a xvcd with 6 videos.
The first one have - 1985 kilobits/sec ...and it plays well
The second have - 2561 kilobits/sec ...and it don't play well...it hang for seconds or even minutes
The third have - 2129 kilobit/sec ...and it hang sometimes for seconds
The fourth have - 1997 kilobits/sec ...and it plays well
The fifth have - 2194 kilobits/sec ...and it plays well
The sixth have - 2782 kilobit/sec ...and it don't play well...it hang for seconds or even minutes

So...I put this xvcd in my computer and played it direct from my cd-rom.
The videos that hang in my dvd-player hang running direct from my cd-rom too(second and sixth)...BUT the third video plays well.

So...I copy all videos that still hang into my hd (second and sixth)...and it plays well.

I put more videos in the cd that plays well but have some glitches(running it in my computer or dvd-player).

You guys know what can be the problem and how I can play all my videos well in my dvd player?

Thanks everyone...and sorry about my english

  3. I think your dvd player is limited to 2500 kbits/s, as many players are.
If they also don't play well on your computer from your cd-rom drive, it's also to slow, cause you can play it from your hard drive.

  5. It seems as when the player is getting to the outer part of the disc, where the disc is spinning faster, it has no problem reading the data.

Reencode the video for your player, probably 2500.

I make two discs, one at 2500, and one at 3750.

Make the other one in case you get a new player one day.

Just reencode the video selecting 2500. Be sure it is compliant. What are you using to burn the svcd???
