I have a very strange problem (probably the only one out there that experiences this), and I haven't found anything online about this. When I stop a video capture that's about more than 17 minutes long, the program(s) I use freezes up. I am forced to close the program. The video itself (the one that was just captured) is still there, so I play it. After about 16 minutes or so, the audio cuts off (it's complete silence). Why is this happening?

  2. I think I know what to do next time. Instead of capturing the audio as an MP3 format, I'm going to capture as a PCM format. Do any of you recommend capturing the audio under the PCM format?

    No, not usually.
    Try it anyway, I guess.
    Testing never hurts.
I'm not online anymore. Ask BALDRICK, LORDSMURF or SATSTORM for help. PM's are ignored.
