    i caputured a clip using my fugi digi cam. when i use the software with it the clip plays back fine. when playing the avi in media player its green. when opend in virtual dub its black!

    dont know whats going on.

    have nimo codecs and ace codecs xvid smr n all that i know off. im confused. u cannot export it from the software provided with my camera

    anyone any knowloge help me ! thnx luke

    Your codecs are in the wrong order or not set properly. Without looking myself, I have no idea what to tell you. I will say that the NIMO codec pack sucks and causes more problems than not from experience.

    I had a very similar problem with a video card, it would display right in a preview but once the capure was done only green or black.
    I turned out to be my capture device and encoding device were not compatable.
    Dont know if this helps any but its worth a chance.
