Clearing your ram w/o restarting??

Is there a way to clea my ram without restarting? cause when im downloading its a real pain to restart my comp to keep it at top speed. is there such a program or somthing i can do to take car of this? Thanks.

I use a nifty little utility that I found here:

It works great! The only problem with this program is that it CANNOT get rid of memeory used by office2k, the author said that it's impossible to do, and that clearing the memory of when you run office 2k REQUIRES a restart no matter what.

I use a small util called RAMpage. Works with PC100/133 & DDR ram too

AWESOME! Thanks for the info, i didnt even know that was possible... no more waiting for my comp to restart then logging in and all the hassle..
