  1. Hi All,
Is there any easy way to convert a DVD (.vob) to an Audio + Video system file (mpeg, mpg, etc.). I would like to be able to open the converted file in Ulead Video Studio or Canopus ProCoder. Thank you very much for your help.

  2. HHmm..A VOB file IS an mpeg file already and you should be able to open it ok in most softawre. A VOB file is just Mpeg Video (normally mpeg-2) multiplexed with audio (Normall dolby digital ac3).

VOBedit will extract the files back out for you into the pre-VOB files. Not re-encoding or transcoding or anything, just extracting.
I'm not online anymore. Ask BALDRICK, LORDSMURF or SATSTORM for help. PM's are ignored.

  4. Thank you very much txpharoah,

I tried VobEdit and demux the Vob file but still it extracts the vob into two separate files (i.e. m2v and AC3). Is there any way to get just one file containing both video and audio with an extention other than vob that for example Canopus ProCoder can open it?
    Thanks
