  1. I was wondering if you took a couple seconds from a mpeg, could that be used as a motion menu in VCDEasy?

If that's possible would I also be able to use sound?

    Thanks for the help.
If everything is infinite then nothing is definite.

2 ways I make my menus.

    1. A series of still shots that simulate a cursor moving around.

    2. A moving picture with audio intro that lists options but with no cursor control

audio with Option 1 would restart/change with each still shot.

  3. i usally use tmpg to cut the intro sequence of the movies title so you get the opening title with sound. and use that as a intro file on tscv
i have also used a single frame cut out with powerdvd of the chapters, puting all of the chapter pics on a background. and then take a loopable sound with that into tmpg and go a menus with sound.
i usally use 10sec of sound and in svcd its makes out to be 5 mb each
i use the same still pic with a 10 second audio clip, run thru tmpg, for scene selection menu 1 starts movie , 2 scene selection.
and finally the same for insert disk 2.
    ........
this is a great guide to motion menus
