  1. I've a new DVD player. It supports SVCD . I burned 3 videoclips on 1 svcd. One of it will froze when it plays +- 1 minute. The other will totally stop after a while and the last plays fine! I thought SVCD couldn't freeze!!! Are there some important settings in TMPGEnc my settings (Are they wrong?) were:
    Video: 480 x 576, 25 fps, 2 pass VBR: AVR: 2520 Max: 2520 Min: 650
Audio: Mpeg II 244kbps, Joint Stereo
    System: SVCD VBR
Quantize Matrix: Default (Is it the problem???)

My DVD player can pla CD-RW 650MB but not a CD-RW 700. Why???

VCD's and DVD's play fine even XVCD does...

  3. But I did the same with a normal CD-R (Not CD-RW). I used the DVD Pal template in TMPGEnc and its works fine!!! Maybe it is the Quantize Matrix? Maybe it is like vcd... Not "Default" but "Mpeg Standard".

So it plays OK on a CD-R but not an RW? Then it's your media which your player doesn't like. Try a different RW or try burning at a really low speed like 4X. Some players and some media don't mix.
