Are you sure it's a 90 min CD-R. Common CD-R's are 74 and 80 minutes for audio or VCD video.

I use nero and if you go to options..one of the tabs lets you set the overburn...I usually choose 90 min...
Nero will say the file is too big but then will let you overburn it.
Just like the other post though..make sure its a 90 min cd

Yes i am sure.
i bought a pack of 90 minutes CD-R (10 cd-rs)
800 MB 90 minutes.
thanks i will try nero then.
strange a 85 minutes movie doesnt fits on 90 minutes CD-R. -
If you go to the Nero overburn options.. instead of 90 mins to overburn change it to 99mins.
Use disk at once burning and it should work fine... unless your burner doesnt support overburning.
worked for me perfectly.. (Dont use DAO/96) -
It looks like someone do not understand the vcd/svcd terminology at all .It doesn’t matter the movie length ,the size of the cd is measure in MB ONLY ( the size in minutes is for audio CD ),it is possible to fit 120 min movie into 80 min CD if you compress it properly.
So, you need to check you file size only if it fits your CD( 800MB file fits 700MB CD and for 800MB CD you can burn more then 900MB file...long story) and burn it as "video CD" with Nero

He already said what the filesize is, and it should easily fit on a 90 min cdr assuming his burner supports that size media. Also, if you are making a VCD, which he said he was, than you can go by the playtime, even though it is ultimately the filesize that counts. Since VCDs use a constant bitrate, 90 mins of footage will always equal 900mbs of data, and thus will fit on a 90 min cdr.
CrumCon: As others have already stated, it does not matter how large your cdr/w is if you only have Nero set to burn to the 80 min mark. By default, Nero assumes you have no larger than an 80 min cdr, so just make sure and tell it otherwise. Also realize that all cdr burners have a physical limitation on the amount of data they can burn. Many cdr burners will not burn past the 80 min (800mb) mark, period, regardless of how large the media is.
Beautiful Alone: Not sure where you live. Here in the states very few stores stock them. I think in other parts of the world they are more common. You can order them from most online media retailers though. I used to use them for all of my SVCDs before I switched to dvd burning.
