My personal favourite is Verbatim Datalife Plus.

I use 40x TDK. Mine come in a box with carry handle holding 25 multi-coloured discs.
I'm having trouble finding a 12x CD-RW. -
Is Memorex CD-RW any good? I've never used CD-RWs before until now. I bought a 25 pack spindle and I can't seem to format it using InCD. However, I am able to write to it using Nero just fine.

I usualy buy the cheapest.
I liek Princo CD-R..
Curently I have memorex 48X. Work fine for computer, but my Standalove DVD player have hardtime to read them and skip on vobs I have tested -
Over the years I've had so much hit and miss with cheap cdrs I prefer TDK now myself, MItsui if I can find a good price and know that its the real thing. Also I use imation which is as close as I'll get to cheap and I only have some of them because its what a friend buys tons of.

I burner over 1000 Cd-r last 5 or 6 years.
Maxell, Princo, Memorex, noname.. All are still working over time. for Computer use, any CD-R can do the job.. -
1. Harder to find now, but DEEP BLUE is best.
2. Deep green is okay, but was problematic.
3. The LIGHT BLUE is 2nd best.
4. The silvers and silvery-blue and silvery-green are not too good. Okay for general use (but not for PSX games, audio discs for highest compatibilty in most players, nor archiving data, use DEEP blue on those).
5. Black like the PSX. Those work well, like DEEP BLUE.
I spend $ on Pioneer Archivals. The Maxell mutli-color discs are nice, and available even at Walmart. The black discs are nice. The new vinyl-fake black CD-R I find to be of highest quality.
The problem with the ligh colors and silver is the reflectiveness just isn't there. Prone to skip and burn badly (though won't fail the burn).
That's my educated, experienced opinion, based off facts and the 10,000+ burns I've done since 1994.
Also, BE SURE TO GET COATED DISCS. Those shiny-silver- or shiny-gold-topped discs will die in 5 years or so. Coatings make a difference.I'm not online anymore. Ask BALDRICK, LORDSMURF or SATSTORM for help. PM's are ignored. -
I use the verbatim datalife plus in the 50 pack spindles, or the colored datalife plus in the slim jewel cases and have never had a bad burn with them.
