Hi, I read a lot about people DV AVI in Premiere - saving as AVI - then encoding in TEMPenc. Normaly I encode with Adobe encoder (Main Concept), but I wanted to try out TEMPenc to see differance. I captured the AVI (via 1394) in premeire 6.5 as AVI Type2. The captured AVI will open fine in TEMPenc. After a lot of editing(transitions, multi video & audio tracks) and saved back to AVI Type2, it will no longer open in TEMPenc Plus 2.5. I can open it Ulead, MP,Powerdvd, and anywhere except TEMPenc or Vitualdub. It says can't open or not supported. The same AVI before editing opens fine. I opened the AVI in G-spot and it said the file is fine no errors. The only differance I can find is in the 4CC block it lists: dvsd/dvsd, the original lists just: dvsd. Also in the Type it lists: AVI. the original lists: AVI opendml.
