  1. alright, i'm using - DVD2AVI v1.76 FrameServing into TMPGEnc 12j to get my .mpg movie from the .vobs. My problem is half of the movie (47 minutes in win media player) is 1.96 GB... I understand that the ratio should be 10mb=1 minute so this should be a 470MB .mpg that I could get onto a cd. any help that could point me in the right direction would be extremely useful at this point..

  2. Using TMPGEnc, Go into File/Mpeg Tools/ Simple Demultiplex.
    Load your mpg into that and it will creat a new audio/video file.

    Then, Use BBmpg to put it back together. You can specify the file size with that program. It will creat somewhat even file sizes to fit on the media you specified.

    There are some good tutorials on here.... just peek around a little.
