  1. I have the neest version of tmpgenc and it is a trial version with ability to encode mpeg 2. I have a movie in divx format in 544x304 divx .avi. Can I convert this file to a svcd mpeg 2 file??

    Or am i limited to converting it to a vcd mpeg 1 file? I am able to convert it but I am getting no sound when the new file is converted ?? Help please if ya do not mind

    Yes you can convert to SVCD.

    Lack of audio indicates a codec problem. Get Gspot from the Tools section, test your file and get the codec.

    but maybe you'll get a blurry video conversion of divx. i've convert mpg2 video to divx format using tmpgenc and divxpro codec and got a blurry conversion
