    Hi all!
I've just downloaded film that is xvid, tried to play on the computer, and it won't play, i've got the latest xvid codecs, and everything else as far as i know, is there any other codecs i need? I also tried to encode it in TMPEG, and it wouldn't let me, saying it was unsupported!
Any help would be appreciated! thanx!

  2. Download Gspot from doom9.org and import the avi file into it.. Gspot will tell you everything about the file and whether you have the appropriate codec installed in your system. IIRC, think you need something like Divx5 or Koepic xvid codecs.. good luck.

Oh, TMPGEnc is a tempermental bi#ch.. does her job only when she's in the mood.. nice software but very frustrating for an at-best novice like me.
