I was converting an Xvid last night with TMPGEnc. I did the usual, which is use virtual dub to convert the audio to a .wav file first. I then used TMPGEnc as usual to convert to DVD format. I set my settings the way I normally do, full screen (keep aspect ratio), use external audio encoder, etc. I set up a batch run so I could go watch the hockey game while this was converting. I came back and found that the audio was done perfectly but there were some problems with the video. It did a random amount on each convertion, 30 mins on one movie, 92 mins on another and then they all gave me the same "Pointer" problem. When I watched the movie in the new DVD format it worked great with both audio and video up until the point where it had a problem, at which the audio continued on and there was no video. Anyone else have a problem like this or similar that could give me some advice on what to do?
Thanks in advance for any help.
