I want to make an audio-only SVCD.

Why ? Because I want to listen to CD's with Quad or Surround sound, but can't play DTS-CD's.

So I encoded the audio to MPEG 2 5.1, which my DVD-player is able to play.

What is the best way to make an SVCD with only audio on it ? I have tried two ways so far:
- Make a movie with only one image, which is played for the entire length of the audio.
- Make an SVCD with an mpg-still followed by the audio-track (muxed without video to a program stream using TMPGenc). You have to add the audio track as an mpeg still using VCDeasy.

Problem with the first option: This costs a lot of space on the SVCD for a movie that has only 1 picture. My player sometimes hicks during playback if I make the video bitrare to low.

Problem with the second option: I can't add chapters for tracks & time is not displayed on the DVD player.

Is there a way to create an SVCD with only audio, as less video as possible, with a possibility to create chapters ?
