  1. I made my first DVD last night, but I want to have a longer MP3 playing on my menu screen. Now bearing in mind it took 8 hours to convert the video, I don't really want to do that again, so I'm wondering if one of the following options will work:

    a) Clicking <Back a few times and simply changing the file, then going forward, will it try and reconvert my MPEG files again? Or will it still have these stored somewhere (I've yet to exit the program after running the output function.

or b) Using the .iso I created of the DVD, can I go into this in ISObuster and simply copy a file with the same name over the existing one? I can see the file when I explore the burned disc, so I wonder if it's possible to mount it somehow and swap that file.

    Thanks for any help

What you can do is use isobuster to extract the video 'VOB' files and save them as 'MPG' files. Then load them back into Movie Factory and re-create your menu. Make sure that the Project Properties match the settings in your MPG files and the 'Do not convert compliant MPG files' option is ticked.
Now when you re-do the ISO file only the menu will be rendered and the video will just be copied.

This step will work. Since you have already created the mpeg files this process will be a lot faster.
